Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences at our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and providing top-notch guest services.
Duties:
– Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items
– Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
– Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and friendly manner
– Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience
– Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
– Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
– Handle payments and operate the cash register efficiently
– Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the dining area
Experience:
– Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is advantageous
– Knowledge of basic maths for order taking and billing purposes
– Familiarity with culinary terms and food preparation techniques
– Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
