Job Description

Proten International seeks an experienced Verification Manager to lead our Lagos verification team, ensuring secure customer onboarding through rigorous KYC/AML controls while preserving a seamless user experience. You will oversee daily operations, design and refine workflows and policies, implement fraud detection tools, monitor and investigate suspicious activity, and maintain full compliance with CBN and AML regulations.

Responsibilities include training and developing verification officers, reporting key verification metrics, and working closely with Tech and Product teams to enhance systems and processes.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in verification/KYC/fraud/compliance within banking or fintech
  • Deep knowledge of CBN KYC/AML requirements and digital verification tools
  • Proven leadership, strong analytical skills, and a relevant bachelor’s degree
