Job Description

UN Women is inviting applications for the position of National Consultant. This role focuses on advancing Gender Equality, Social Inclusion, and Climate Change initiatives as part of the revision of Nigeria’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) 3.0.

The successful candidate will work closely with diverse stakeholders to embed gender-responsive strategies within climate action plans. Responsibilities include evaluating existing policies and providing strategic recommendations to bolster efforts in social inclusion.

Applicants should have a strong background in gender studies, climate policy, and project management, along with demonstrated experience in engaging stakeholders effectively.
