Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Treasury Currency Analyst who will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and managing currency-related activities to optimize our financial position and mitigate risks.
- Minimum Qualification: Degree
- Experience Level: Mid level
- Experience Length: 4 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze currency markets to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop strategies to hedge against currency risks and enhance the organization’s financial stability.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of foreign exchange markets, considering economic indicators, geopolitical events, and market trends.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing processes.
Requirements:
- B.Sc in any Accounting, Marketing, or any related filed
- 4 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience using online banking platforms, treasury systems, and accounting systems
- Experience in working in an international treasury function.
- Experience in developing and preparing international cashflow reports
- Experience in developing Fund flow policies and protocols and successfully implementing them
- Ability to work in a multicultural context/environment, and demonstrate innovative practices
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan and prioritize own work without close supervision and to operate within treasury policy at all times to mitigate risk.
- Excellent problem-solving skills in resolving any issues relating to the transaction or settlement of financial contracts and banking queries
- A positive “can do” attitude and confidence in dealing with external parties and management
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to make judgments as to when to challenge current treasury practices to benefit the organization.
- High level of proficiency in Excel
