Job Description
As a Tax Accountant at RS Hunter Ltd, you will be responsible for managing both direct and indirect tax matters for the organization. This includes preparing paperwork for tax payments and returns, as well as ensuring that the company’s Executive team is aware of tax exposure and impact from asset disposals, structural business changes, mergers, and acquisitions.
You will play a crucial role in recommending tax strategies that align with the business goals of RS Hunter Ltd. This includes the preparation and lodgment of tax returns, providing tax advice to management on various taxation matters such as research and development tax breaks, and organizing and updating the company’s tax database.
As a Tax Accountant, you will also be responsible for reviewing, updating, and improving tax-related systems, as well as identifying areas to reduce tax exposure. It is essential to stay up to date with changes to taxation legislation and to liaise with tax authorities, tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies when required.
In addition, you will be forecasting tax predictions, understanding the financial landscape, and keeping up with market trends. This knowledge will contribute to the overall financial strategy of RS Hunter Ltd.
