Job Description
Global Connect is on the lookout for a dedicated Tally Clerk to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, counting, and documenting both incoming and outgoing cargo at the Terminal. This position entails calculating fees for storage, damages, shipping, and receiving.
Education & Experience:
– A minimum of OND/NCE in Statistics, Accounting, Business, or Management is preferred.
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in Cargo Tally Operations or a similar capacity.
Required Skills:
– Physically capable of lifting and standing for extended periods.
– Detail-oriented with a strong numerical aptitude.
– Basic understanding of port operations and safety regulations.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in both written and spoken English.
