Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supermarket & Bakery Accountant to oversee daily bookkeeping, POS and cash reconciliation, inventory costing, vendor payments, payroll for bakery staff, and monthly close. Prepare financial statements, budgets, and variance analyses; ensure tax and regulatory compliance; and implement controls to minimize shrinkage and waste. The role requires working to deadlines and collaborating with store managers to support operations.
- Requirements: Accounting degree and 2+ years’ experience in retail or food-service accounting
- Skills: Advanced Excel, familiarity with POS systems, strong attention to detail, and effective communication
