Job Description
Promasidor is looking for a meticulous Shipping Officer to oversee and coordinate our shipping operations, ensuring efficient procedures and timely clearance of shipments by both sea and air. This position requires effective collaboration with third-party agents, internal departments, and regulatory entities to streamline logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely clearance of shipments from ports.
- Monitor and track shipments in transit.
- Communicate with government agencies to address any related issues.
- Manage duty payments and comply with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics.
- In-depth understanding of Nigeria’s clearing processes.
