Job Description
A Shift Electrician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems during their assigned shift. They collaborate with the maintenance team to perform routine inspections, identify electrical problems, and carry out repairs or replacements as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment
- Identifying and troubleshooting electrical issues
- Repairing or replacing faulty components
- Performing preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Responding to emergency electrical calls
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and circuits. They must be skilled in using various testing equipment, have troubleshooting abilities, and possess knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
