Job Description
A Service Manager is responsible for overseeing employees and daily operations within the customer service department. Their duties include creating customer service policies, hiring and training Customer Service Representatives, and handling complex customer questions.
Service Manager duties and responsibilities:
- Providing product information, estimated arrival times, and recommendations to customers
- Delivering prompt solutions for customer inquiries professionally
- Managing customer service staff and ensuring best service practices
- Representing customer feedback to the company
- Suggesting and implementing improvements to customer service
