Job Description
A Senior Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of a facility to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient environment for employees and visitors. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of facility management principles.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise facility staff, including maintenance technicians, custodial staff, and administrative personnel
- Develop and implement facility policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance activities to ensure the facility’s infrastructure remains in optimal condition
- Manage contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure delivery of quality services within budget
- Monitor and evaluate facility operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Prepare and manage the facility’s budget, including forecasting and cost control
- Collaborate with other departments to support their facility-related needs
