Job Description
The Senior Database Developer will be responsible for the overall development and maintenance of information databases used to operate the infrastructure and technology platform. Designing and streamlining data operations, maintaining peak database performance are key responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understanding business strategy and translating business intelligence needs to the database level.
- Designing, configuring, implementing, and administering all databases.
- Developing complex models and logical database designs.
- Identifying and resolving issues related to database systems for uninterrupted service.
- Creating and maintaining stored procedures, views, tables, jobs, triggers, etc.
- Enhancing standards, processes, and procedures for database environments.
- Reporting on database operations’ performance against key metrics.
Skill & Experience Requirements:
- 5+ Years in IT service
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Proficient in MS SQL Server
- Experience in database design, data modeling, schema design
- Knowledge of Excel formulas
- Experience using Transact SQL, Stored Procedure, and UDFs
