Job Description

To work closely with the branch Manager and respective Relationship Executives at various divisions to ensure that the credit of the branch is in order and to conduct daily administrative tasks. The responsibilities include:

  • Attending to substantive credit applications for the branch’s clientele
  • Reporting accounts
  • Liaising and calling clients regularly for clarity on their financial information or securing necessary documentation
  • Preparation and motivation of facilities to Head Office for lending outside branch discretion
  • Maintenance of accounts via Cis (Customer hierarchies & CUAC)
  • Preparation of R2A’s (where necessary)
  • Identifying, quantifying, and evaluating sources of risk in relation to profitability of business proposal and financial viability of the business as a whole, interrogating information obtained to gain a thorough understanding of business parameters which create profit/value as well as the associated risks.
  • Ensuring that all loan/facility documentations are correct and in order prior to draw down in order to protect the Bank against possible financial loss
  • Merging all limits approved by the Credit Head Office into Lotus notes
  • Reporting accounts via lotus notes pending regularization of facilities or perfection of securities
