A Retail Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers in finding and purchasing products in a retail setting. As a part of the sales team, the associate should have excellent interpersonal skills and product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals. Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering their questions, and providing information about products. The associate also assists in restocking shelves, maintaining the store’s cleanliness, and organizing merchandise. They process payments, handle exchanges and returns, and help customers with any issues or complaints.

To excel in this role, an associate should have strong communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a friendly and customer-oriented attitude.
