Job Description
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Research Supervisor for a renewable 1-year contract position based in Kano. Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or related fields, coupled with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support nutrient omission trials and site-specific nutrient management.
- Assist with soil sampling and digital soil mapping in Northern Nigeria.
- Provide training on climate-smart agricultural practices.
- Ensure precise data recording and documentation for trials.
- Collect feedback from farmers to improve research outcomes.
