Job Description

Position: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun, Nigeria (On-site/Hybrid)

Employment Type: 3-6 Months Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support a government institution in ensuring the reliability and performance of its mission-critical systems and applications. The role involves reviewing vendor documentation, validating system functionality, and conducting both functional and non-functional tests to guarantee compliance with public sector standards.

Responsibilities

  • Review vendor documentation and technical specifications for government systems.
  • Design and execute test plans for functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct performance, security, and usability testing across applications.
  • Document test results and provide recommendations for system improvements.
  • Collaborate with vendors, developers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian government IT standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software testing and QA.
  • Strong knowledge of functional and non-functional testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, or similar (Must have at least 2 of this tools)
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: ₦300,00.00 – ₦500,00.00 per month
