Job Description
RS Hunter Ltd is currently looking for a skilled QA Tester to join our team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for designing scenarios, test plans, procedures, and scripts. You will efficiently analyze test results and report them to the development team. You will also execute tests on source code and work closely with the development team to rectify errors and bugs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications.
- Identify key KPIs for product quality.
- Execute manual or automated test cases and analyze results.
- Collaborate with the dev team to develop effective test plans and strategies.
- Create logs for documenting test phases and significant defects.
- Evaluate product codes as per specifications.
- Work proficiently with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide aid for troubleshooting issues.
- Conduct post-implementation or post-release testing.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
- 2 years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing with Selenium, Test Driven Development Strategies, and others.
- Minimum 18 months of experience with coding using Java.
- Minimum 18 months of experience with web security technology.
- 2 years of experience with software QA tools and processes.
- Must be familiar with Agile frameworks where regression testing is a plus.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Team player.
- Good time-management skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
