Job Description
A Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects from inception to completion. They work closely with a team of engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Managing project execution, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule
- Collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to design, develop, and implement projects
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
- Preparing and presenting progress reports to clients and senior management
- Ensuring all project documentation is completed and up-to-date
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in engineering projects
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proficient in project management software and tools
