Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Operate and monitor machinery on the glass production line to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.

2. Conduct routine checks on equipment functionality and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.

3. Follow established production schedules and work orders to meet daily output targets.

4. Inspect glass products for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

5. Monitor raw material levels and coordinate with the supply chain for timely replenishment.

6. Safely handle and transport glass products within the production area.

7. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.

9. Execute minor repairs and adjustments on machinery as required.

10. Document production data, including output quantities, machine downtime, and quality control metrics.

Requirements:

1. Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

2. Proven experience as a production line operator in a processing environment as well as computer literate.

3. Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and processes.

4. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail.

5. Strong understanding of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them.

6. Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor repairs.

7. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

8. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when required.

9. Flexibility to work in shifts and overtime as needed.

10. Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
