Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Procurement Specialist / Engineer. In this role, you will play a crucial role in our organization by managing the procurement process and ensuring the timely and efficient acquisition of goods and services.
As a Procurement Specialist / Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies based on business needs and objectives
- Identifying potential suppliers and conducting assessments to determine their suitability
- Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
- Monitoring supplier performance and implementing measures to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Operations, and Finance, to ensure alignment and support for procurement activities
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong background in procurement and engineering, with excellent analytical and negotiation skills. You should also have a thorough understanding of supply chain management principles and be familiar with industry best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
