Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and supervising all purchasing activities.
- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
- Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
- Managing purchased inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Implementing the technical purchases sourcing process including supplier selection, risk mitigation, and contract execution.
- Evaluating suppliers’ offers in terms of commercial and technical requirements.
- Conducting on-the-ground inspection of parts and materials.
- Coordinating purchasing activities with other departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field with 3-4 years procurement experience working in an interior design, architecture, or construction firm.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Attention to detail.
Salary: 150,00 Naira per month
Location: Victoria Island
Work mode: Hybrid (First month probation Onsite)
