Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process to ensure the timely procurement of materials and services needed for our organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies
- Conducting market research to identify reliable suppliers and obtain competitive prices
- Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers
- Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
- Maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation
The ideal candidate for this role has a solid understanding of procurement principles, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Proven experience in procurement, strong analytical abilities, and attention to detail are also required.
