Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Video Editor to join our dynamic team. As the Principal Video Editor (Long-Form YouTube), you will be responsible for creating engaging and professional video content for our YouTube channel.
Key responsibilities:
- Editing and enhancing long-form YouTube videos, ensuring high-quality and seamless final output
- Collaborating with the content creation team to brainstorm and develop innovative video concepts and ideas
- Managing multiple projects with varying deadlines and ensuring timely delivery
- Using creative and technical skills to refine videos by adjusting lighting, sound, graphics, and special effects
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video editing
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a video editor, with a solid portfolio demonstrating expertise in long-form YouTube editing
- Proficient in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of storytelling and visual aesthetics
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
