Job Description
Our client is one of Canada’s largest grocers who assist 10 provinces throughout Canada.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience assisting in a pharmacy or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and inventory systems.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and trustworthy.
- The ability to work as part of a team and communicate well with customers.
- Knowledge of medical terminologies and pharmacy procedures.
Key Duties:
- Assist in maintaining inventories of medication and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure the prescription records have accurate information and enter client information in the database.
- Create an oral compound solution, ointments and creams as per the pharmacist’s instructions.
- Bill insurance companies.
- Answer phone calls, emails, or customer inquiries in a professional manner.
