Job Description
The OSP Planning and Design Technician plays a vital role in the planning and design of Outside Plant (OSP) infrastructure for telecommunications networks. Responsibilities include conducting site surveys, creating detailed network design drawings, and collaborating with engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
Key duties also involve analyzing data to determine optimal placement of equipment and infrastructure, updating and maintaining network documentation, and adhering to industry standards and regulations. Strong technical skills in CAD software, GIS applications, and fiber optic technology are essential for this role.
