Job Description
St. Luke’s Hospital, Asaba, invites applications for a full-time Optometrist to strengthen our eye care team. Reporting to the Chief Medical Director and collaborating with the Consultant Ophthalmologist, the successful candidate will perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnostic testing, prescribe and fit corrective lenses, provide patient education and vision therapy support, supervise clinical activities, and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Requirements: O.D. degree; minimum two years clinical experience post-NYSC; registration with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria and an active practicing license; NYSC discharge certificate or exemption; computer proficiency; strong clinical decision-making; willingness to reside in or relocate to Asaba.
