Job Description

Job Summary

An operations manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a business or organization. They ensure smooth operations and efficiency in various aspects such as planning, budgeting, quality control, and customer service.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance and profitability.
  • Coordinate and supervise teams and departments to achieve organizational goals.
  • Manage staff, resources, inventory, equipment, and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about operational issues and progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as an operations manager or similar role in relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management principles and practices.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with business processes, systems, tools, and software related to operations management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
