Job Description
A Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and experiments to assist healthcare professionals in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. They perform tasks such as collecting and analyzing samples, operating laboratory equipment, and recording test results accurately. The technician also ensures the maintenance and cleanliness of the laboratory area and follows safety protocols. To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques, attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills. A degree or certification in Medical Laboratory Technology is required. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate good communication and organizational abilities to work efficiently with the healthcare team.
