Job Description
As a Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design, installation, and maintenance of MEP systems in various construction projects. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems will ensure that buildings are functional, energy-efficient, and compliant with safety regulations.
Your responsibilities will include conducting site evaluations, designing and developing MEP plans, coordinating with architects and other engineering professionals, and ensuring that all MEP systems are properly installed and functioning. You will also be responsible for conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting any issues, and providing cost-effective solutions.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of MEP systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical power distribution, plumbing, and fire protection. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience in MEP design and installation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
