Job Description
As a Material And Procurement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our organization’s supply chain management. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and coordinate the procurement of materials needed for our company’s operations.
You will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. You will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, tracking orders, and resolving any supply chain issues that may arise.
In addition to procurement duties, you will also be involved in material planning, forecasting, and developing strategies to optimize inventory control. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving overall efficiency.
To excel in this role, it is important to have a strong understanding of supply chain management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with procurement software and knowledge of industry regulations and compliance will be advantageous.
