Job Description
As a Marine HSE Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and health of personnel working in a marine environment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Your main duties will include conducting risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, and implementing appropriate control measures. You will also be responsible for training and educating workers on safe practices, investigating incidents and near misses, and ensuring that corrective actions are taken to prevent future occurrences.
Other responsibilities may include overseeing emergency response plans, maintaining safety records, and liaising with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential as you will be working closely with a diverse team, including management, contractors, and front-line workers.
