Job Description
A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the efficient movement of goods from the supplier to the end-user. They ensure the coordination of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and tracking shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to arrange transportation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring stock adequacy.
- Optimizing transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Preparing shipping documents and customs clearance paperwork.
- Analyzing logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities are also essential for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
