Job Description
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is inviting qualified Nigerian nationals to apply for the position of Line Chef at our headquarters in Ibadan.
Position: Line Chef
Contract: 3-year renewable contract | Location: Ibadan
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and mentor kitchen assistants and interns.
- Oversee stock management and inventory control for assigned sections.
- Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and senior cooks.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Support the shift supervisor with daily operational tasks.
Qualifications:
A National Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field, accompanied by at least 2 years of experience. Food Safety Certification is an advantage.
