Job Description
Landover Company is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Legal Services department as a Legal Officer. As a leading aviation company, Landover provides innovative aviation solutions and services. Job Summary:
The Legal Officer will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the company. This includes conducting legal research, preparing and reviewing legal documents and contracts, representing the company in court proceedings, and liaising with external solicitors. The Legal Officer will also assist with corporate filings, attend board meetings, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Job Description/Requirements:
Responsibilities:
- Proffer legal advice for the company as required
- Undertake legal research
- Prepare and review legal correspondence, documents, and contracts
- Attend court proceedings on behalf of the company
- Liaise with external solicitors and provide updates on court suits
- Assist with corporate filings
- Attend and record minutes at meetings
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess an LL. B/B. L certificate with a minimum of second-class upper credit
- Age requirement: 22 – 28 years
- Candidate must possess a WAEC Certificate with a minimum of 5 credits (including Mathematics and English)
- Candidate must have completed the NYSC programme
