Job Description
Legal Research:
- Conduct legal research on maritime laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Summarize findings and provide insights to support legal decision-making.
Document Review:
- Assist in reviewing and analyzing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant maritime laws and contractual obligations.
Drafting and Reviewing Contracts:
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents under the guidance of senior legal professionals.
- Provide input on contractual terms and conditions.
Case Support:
- Assist in preparing legal documents for court cases or arbitration related to maritime matters.
- Collaborate with legal team members to build case strategies.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor changes in maritime laws and regulations.
- Assist in ensuring company compliance with applicable legal requirements.
Compliance Audits:
- Participate in compliance audits to assess adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and address areas of non-compliance.
