Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corp member to join our team as a Legal Intern. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a quick learner, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
As a technology consulting firm, we work with clients across various industries, and our legal team is an integral part of ensuring our clients’ success. The Legal Intern will work closely with our legal team to provide legal support on various projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research, including case law, statutes, and regulations, related to technology and intellectual property
- Review and analyze legal documents and contracts related to technology consulting projects
- Draft legal memos, correspondence, and other legal documents related to technology consulting projects
- Attend and take notes during client meetings, court hearings, and other legal proceedings related to technology consulting projects
- Assist with due diligence and discovery in preparation for technology-related litigation
- Assist with drafting and revising policies and procedures related to technology and intellectual property to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Assist with other legal-related tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ of Law degree from an accredited Institution; minimum 2:1
- Candidates must have graduated from the Nigerian law school.
- Excellent research and analytical skills related to technology and intellectual property law
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of legal research tools and databases related to technology and intellectual property is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦50,00.00 per month
Contract length: 12 months
