Job Description
The Agricultural Research Council invites applications for the position of Laboratory Assistant in Analytical Chemistry. We are looking for motivated individuals to engage in routine laboratory activities and support research initiatives under supervision, while adhering to established project plans and quality standards. Key responsibilities include data collection, research support, and the optimization of laboratory equipment and processes.
Minimum qualifications include a Grade 10 education with at least five years of relevant experience, or at least 15 years of relevant experience in lieu of Grade 10. Ideal candidates must demonstrate knowledge of general cleaning and hygiene practices, possess strong communication skills, exhibit computer literacy, and hold a valid driver’s license. Experience in Occupational Health and Safety will be considered an advantage.
