Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced procurement officer for our client in the Oil and Gas industry. A procurement officer is responsible for managing the purchasing process within an organization, ensuring that goods, services, and materials are acquired at the best possible price and quality.
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop procurement plans and strategies.
- Identify and select reliable suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time.
- Negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers.
- Generate purchase orders and ensure timely processing.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate inventory levels and ensure quality standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
Salary: ₦70,00.00 – ₦100,00.00
Requirements:
OND/ HND/BSC
1-2 years of procurement experience
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
