Job Description
Our client is a diversified holding company with a strong presence in the Manufacturing, FMCG, and Agriculture sectors. They operate across these industries, demonstrating their commitment to excellence and innovation in diverse markets. Due to expansion, they are looking for an IT Officer to join their Manufacturing Sector.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Resolving IT support requests from employees. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Setting up of new PC for a new employee during the onboarding process. Install, update, and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications software.
- Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
- Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the optimum benefit from them.
- Make sure that systems are not working slow – day to day monitoring.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks. Maintaining databases and ensuring system security.
- Replace faulty system parts by your own as required.
- Basic knowledge of Windows server.
- Proficient with Ms-Office packages.
- Proficient with Windows OS.
- Basic knowledge of Google Appsheet.
