Job Description
An investment firm in Lekki, Lagos, is seeking suitable and qualified personnel to fill the vacant position of Investment Accountant. The main responsibilities for this role include:
- Overseeing monthly and quarterly investor reporting
- Collaborating with auditors regarding preparing annual audited accounts
- Managing monthly and quarterly financial assets schedules
- Ensuring fund administrator reporting is accurate, on time, and reflective of wider business insights
- Conducting AML checks
- Supporting with year-end audit
- Completing NAV calculations
- Providing compliance reports
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Accounting and pricing securities
- Reviewing the expenses, distributions, and drawdowns of funds
- Developing and upholding processes for external and internal investor communications/demands
Requirement:
- B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance
- Minimum of one-year experience working in asset management, debt funds, or private equity
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is an added advantage
- Advanced Excel skills
