Job Description
May & Baker Nigeria Plc, established in 1944, is the country’s first pharmaceutical company with roots dating back to 1834 in the United Kingdom. We are currently looking for a dedicated Internal Control Officer to join our team in Lagos on a full-time basis.
About the Job:
- We require an Internal Audit Officer with a keen eye for detail and a minimum qualification of HND/B.Sc. in Accountancy or a related field, along with at least one year of post-NYSC experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Identify and report discrepancies, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement audit recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and organized audit records.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: HND/B.Sc. in Accountancy.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of post-NYSC relevant experience.
Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid computer literacy.
Preferred Attributes:
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
