Job Description

The Internal Control Officer is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s internal control systems. They are tasked with reviewing and evaluating the overall risk management and internal control framework, and recommending enhancements as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough audits to assess the reliability and accuracy of financial information, compliance with policies and regulations, and effectiveness of risk management.
• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify areas of potential risk or fraud and recommend measures to prevent or mitigate such risks.
• Monitor and report on the progress of internal control improvements and any outstanding issues.
• Provide guidance and support to other departments in implementing and complying with internal control requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in internal control, auditing, or risk management.
