Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Internal Collection Agent. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively contacting customers who have overdue accounts and coordinating payment collections.
The main responsibilities of this position include:
- Initiating contact with customers to discuss outstanding account balances
- Negotiating payment arrangements with customers and documenting agreements
- Recording all collection activities in the company’s database
- Providing assistance and guidance to customers regarding payment options
- Identifying and resolving customer issues or disputes related to billing or payment
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in collections or a related field. They should possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and time management skills are also essential for success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
