Job Description
An Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of a company’s internal controls and financial procedures. They review financial statements, assess risk levels, perform audits, and make recommendations for improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Evaluate internal control systems and identify areas of potential risk.
- Review financial records, reports, and transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and implement audit plans, procedures, and testing methodologies.
- Identify weaknesses in processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
