Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Visiting job sites to analyze space availability, design needs, and the purpose of the space.
- Creating initial design sketches, color themes, and ideas based on client requirements and space availability.
- Creating photorealistic renders and animations of design within the allotted time.
- Creating 2D drawings and shop drawings.
- Effectively working with other members of the team.
- Contributing to the material selection process alongside the project manager to ensure it matches what was proposed.
- Providing support to the on-site team where needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- Expert use of SketchUp for modeling interior spaces and furniture, and for 2D drawings.
- Expert use of Enscape for still renderings and animations.
- Good knowledge of Revit.
- Creativity and innovation, while staying up to date on current trends and materials.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of building codes and acquiring required permits.
- Familiarity with furniture, finishes, and materials.
