Job Description
We seek an Information Management & GIS Associate to manage geospatial datasets, maintain GIS databases, produce maps and spatial analyses, and support field data collection and quality control. The role requires designing efficient data workflows, creating clear visualizations, and collaborating with program teams to convert spatial information into actionable insights.
- Responsibilities: GIS database maintenance, map production, spatial analysis, data QA/QC, and workflow design.
- Qualifications: Experience with ArcGIS/QGIS, SQL, data management best practices, and basic scripting (Python or R). Strong attention to detail and communication skills required.
- Preferred: Degree in GIS, geography, data science, or related field; prior field data experience and familiarity with metadata standards.
