Job Description
Our client, Ascentech Services Ltd, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Import Supply Chain Executive to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the flow of goods and services, minimizing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the organization’s supply chain strategy.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts for materials and services.
- Oversee procurement, production, and logistics operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement new technologies to improve efficiency.
- Develop and manage a team of supply chain professionals.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
- BSc/HND qualification degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management.
- Proven track record of success in optimizing supply chains.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
