Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Import-Export / Transport and Customs Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the import and export processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and requirements, and optimizing transportation logistics.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and handle all aspects of imports and exports, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipping arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with import and export regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
- Communicate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs authorities to ensure smooth and timely operations.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
- Optimize transportation logistics by evaluating routes, transportation modes, and costs, while considering efficiency and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, manage inventory, and plan shipments accordingly.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in import-export and customs procedures.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and international trade practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using import-export software and Microsoft Office applications.
