Quality Control/Food Technologist at Kirikiri Area of Lagos
As a food technologist, responsibilities include:
- Modify existing products and processes, develop new ones
- Check and improve safety and quality control procedures
- Research current consumer markets and latest technologies
- Select raw materials and ingredients
- Prepare product costings based on raw materials
- Audit suppliers and manage audits
- Run trials of new products, coordinate launches
- Deal with customer complaints, compile product specifications
- Undertake projects with other departments, work on packaging innovation
- Build relationships with suppliers and customers, ensure profitability
