Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented candidate to join our hospitality team in the role of HR/Administrator. In this position, the candidate will play a crucial role in managing human resources functions and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our hospitality business. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle diverse administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct employee orientation programs and training sessions.
- Handle employee relations, address grievances, and foster a positive work environment.
- Administer benefits programs and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Provide general administrative support to the hospitality team.
- Manage and maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare and process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate staff schedules and assist in workforce planning.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
- Prepare and submit reports related to HR metrics and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
